Jupiter
Jupiter is named after the king of the guards. One earth kilogram would be 2.3 kg on Jupiter. The reason for this is that Jupiter is such a large planet so it has the most gravity. In fact Jupiter is more thatn 1000 times the size of Earth. On Jupiter there are a lot of storms. THe clouds are many different colours so Jupiter is a multicoloured planet.IT also has a giant red spot called 'The eye of Jupiter' due to its peculiar shape. Jupiter has three rings that we are only able to see when the sun lights them up. There are also 50 official moons and 12 unofficial moons. At night time we can see four of the moons with binoculars. Did you know that day and night is only 10 hours on Jupiter as it spins extremely quickly? That is why it looks like it has been stretched. This is called an oblate spheroid.
